Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Backline Assistant ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your account & data

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to operate the app for you.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you upload.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or harvest the app's content, data, or design for the purpose of building a competing product.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code or proprietary logic.
• Use the service to store unlawful content or infringe third-party rights.
• Attempt to disrupt or overload the service or access data belonging to other users.

Intellectual property

The Backline Assistant name, logo, design, software, and curated content (including instrument presets and data libraries) are protected by intellectual property laws. The app's look, feel, branding, and proprietary logic may not be copied or imitated. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

Service availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Backline Assistant and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or revenue, arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical information.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
