Backline Assistant ("we", "us", or "the app") is a toolkit for touring guitar technicians and backline crews. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, used to identify you and grant access.
• Content you create: the tours, instruments, setlists, inventory, photos, and notes you add. This is the data the app exists to store for you.
• Usage data: basic analytics events (e.g. which features are used) to improve the app. We do not sell your data.
• Uploaded files: photos and documents you upload (setlist scans, receipts, instrument photos) are stored to fulfill the feature you used them for.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the app's features.
• To authenticate you and keep your data isolated to your account.
• To respond to support requests sent through our Contact page.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service (e.g. infrastructure hosting), to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. Workspace administrators in your organization may access data you create within tours you share, as part of normal collaboration.

Data security

Access to your data is restricted by row-level security tied to your account. Administrative actions require authenticated, authorized sessions. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete the tours and records you own at any time within the app.
• You can request deletion of your account by contacting us.
• You can decline to upload photos or files; those features simply won't be available to you.
